SNOWSHOP

An e-commerce online marketplace where customers can purchase and sell winter sport (snowboarding/skiing) gears.

  • Implemented user authentication process with error handling using BCrypt that prevents users that are not logged in from accessing protected routes such as uploading new products onto the marketplace.
  • Administered React hooks components that utilize the virtual DOM to manipulate the real DOM effectively and dynamically.
  • Compiled all modals into a single React component function to keep code DRY, while simultaneously providing the correct information to each component.

Slacker

A clone of Slack where users can create profiles and live chat with each other while accessing different channels.

  • Designed and implemented database schema for user profiles, direct messages, channels, live chat, and other relevant data using a relational database management system (PostgreSQL).
